Sunday Evenings at 5pm

Our Journey Students Ministry meets on Sunday evenings at 5pm in Lower Reber. We believe that students are not the future of the church, but that they are the church NOW. Our youth are our future leaders, pastors, teachers, elders, deacons and believers. They will carry the gospel in the next generation.

Who We Are & How We Disciple

Who We Are & How We Disciple

We are a youth ministry rooted in the identity and mission of the local church. Our goal is to help students answer the questions, “Who am I in the church?” and “What is the church to me?” by inviting them into meaningful participation, ownership, and leadership.

We emphasize:
Ownership of personal faith

Ability to study Scripture independently

Serving in other areas of church life

Growth in prayer, witness, and leadership

Exploration of calling and purpose

Our discipleship approach is holistic, focused on spiritual formation of the heart, soul, mind, and hands, helping students live “all in” for Jesus in every area of life.

Portrait of a Graduate

Portrait of a Graduate

Our desire is that every student graduates with a faith that is informed, personal, and enduring. We aim to disciple students who know, explain, and live out the gospel in their everyday lives; who practice spiritual disciplines that shape their lives around Jesus; and who are prepared to carry a resilient faith into college and adulthood.
Graduates will understand the essential doctrines of the Christian faith—such as God, Scripture, and the person and work of Jesus—and recognize their God-given role in the local church and the broader Kingdom of God. They will know not only what they believe, but why they believe it, and where they fit in God’s story.
