Groups at JTG

Growing Together

At The Journey Tower Grove, we offer two types of groups that are designed for depth, vulnerability, and transformation; Community Groups and Journey Groups.

We believe that discipleship is about embracing Jesus' teachings and applying them to everyday life.

Our groups are the cornerstone of this journey, providing a supportive environment for growth and learning.

Community Groups: normally 10-15 people, who meet in various settings, such as homes, local parks, community centers, coffee shops, or JTG facilities. During their gatherings, members typically engage in Bible study, discuss sermon review questions or explore Christian literature approved by the elders. Either of these aim to foster a deeper understanding and connection to bringing the kingdom of God to every part of life.

Journey Groups: intimate gatherings of 2-4 individuals, of the same sex, who meet regularly for a year, to foster spiritual growth and accountability. In addition to reviewing scripture, members address agreed-upon accountability questions, providing support and encouragement in their spiritual journeys. Each session concludes with heartfelt prayers for friends who have yet to know Jesus, reinforcing the group's spiritual transformation and outreach mission.
