A Rule of Life is how we live out our vision and mission together as a church family. It’s a shared framework that helps us answer the question:

How does The Journey Tower Grove live around the teachings and practices of Jesus?

The word “rule” comes from the Latin regula, meaning “a trellis.” Just as a trellis supports a vine so that it can grow healthy and strong, a Rule of Life provides structure to help our spiritual lives flourish. It’s not about rules for the sake of rules—it’s about creating space for God to shape us.
By setting our lives around a shared Rule of Life, we grow in spiritual rhythms that form us into a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled family on mission who takes the Kingdom of God to all corners of our lives. These rhythms—of prayer, Scripture, rest, community, and service—help us remain rooted in Jesus and bear fruit in every part of life.
